It has to be noticed though: that British services never dared about the accuracy of foreign names.
For example, Schulze’s name being 99,999 % spelled incorrectly Schultze.

What makes this survey sparkling, was the fact reading on
the one hand Schulze-Holthus' book:
Aufstand in Iran (Revolt in Iran)
and also working myself through the mass of KV 2/1484 file series. (about 250 pages)
next followed by KV 2/1485
Finishing with KV 2/1486 (1-3)
By the way: in O'Sullivan's book (page 144) we encounter a rather stupid handling by those once creating the file KV file series and/or those reproducing it!
I am afraid, that both weren't the most smart guys!
Who is turning a photo series around, without being aware that herewith the (vertical) succession of photos changes; without mentioning this fact (aspect)!
According the latter file this is Dr. (Julius) Bernhardt Schulze-Holthus
In born 1895, photographs taken, presumably somewhere in 1944 he must have been thus about 49 years old.
He apparently is:
Kurt Harbers, the Dora W/T operator
What might have occurred, is, that the above photo had once been interchanged with the next one. Why? Because the impressions of ages might match better; but this is only a possible assumption.

Kurt Piwonka W/T operator, albeit, that he also acted as 'male nurse'
Schulze apparently had better contact to the latter, who originated from Wien (Vienna) Austria.
We should now, because his photo being in the centre of the row, his position does not change. Therefore his name stays: Kurt Piwonka (Schulze sometimes noticing Piwanka).

Major Dr. Julius Bernhard(t) Schulze-Holthus
The photo of the other German is not included within the British papers; who was the party leader Captain Kurmes (Kurmis), he managed to commit suicide quite shortly after they had been overwhelmed by Kasir Khan's men, in a deal with the British D.S.O. CICI in Teheran.
Although, they officially operated on behalf of the Abwehr, they actually all were S.D. agents sent by Amt VI of the R.S.H.A.
For your information:
The selections aren’t obeying scientific standards, but reflecting, what in my opinion, is worth to be noticed; with the objective attracting attention for a most intriguing episode in history in wartime Middle East, in particular Persia (Iran).
Of which you hardly will encounter serious and interesting information.
The already available Franz Mayr information
Franz Mayr headed the German intelligence operations in Persia; but he belonged to the R.S.H.A. section S.D.
Whereas Dr. Schulze belonged to the regular German Abwehr organisation.
In the course of 1943, first the Franz Goup agents arrived and thereafter the so-called Anton Group. which moved to the so-called tribe regions; headed by Nasir Khan (Nasr Khan) of the Qashgai tribe.
Schulze's book is dealing with those people and events.

It proved to be my good assessment to start with studying the British files first - and thereafter to start reading this book.
A major shortcoming, in my perception, is, he refers to a reference without providing page numbers; making checking merely impossible. This is utmost annoying when huge file series being implied. Mr O'Sulivan did his PhD in 2014, we may assume that by this time the KV 2/.... and related file series were already in a kind of digital format; which implies page reference numbers. Simply proving the archive box-number-series is too simple!
Though, because I have read all before recently and made many notes in digital form, it is being manageable. I am also not always certain, whether he has read himself the foreign references, without the support of other means.
