I myself wonder, that to my knowledge very few real accademics were among these men, which were visiting German Univerty Institutions. Hansell was well known for a long time.
It will also appear, that as usually this report is containing a lot of deliberatly wrongly names and other kinds spelling. It is apparent, that this report is not seriously checked by "scientific eyes". They most likely would have complained its draft concept.

Dr. Konig (König?, AOB) Göttingen has an electron-microscope at his disposal, with that he showed in a recent work, that a detector-effect with a metal-point only occurs, when the crystals are larger than 10-4 cm. He could get layers in crystalline state by depositing Ge-compounds in vapour state F.E. GeC14. The thin film are potentially very useful for measuring incident radiant energy, as pysometers and infra red detectors not only due to their small heat storage capacity but also due to their blackness or high absorption .. ; .... Electrically controlled Clutches, many years ago it was demonstrated that friction between semi-conducting material and a metal shoe sliding over it could be varied over a large range value by passing a variable electrical current through the surface between them. Attempts were made made to use the phenomenon to provide electrically controlled clutches and the clutches did find some use in telegraph signal recorders. The development was abandoned because of the poor quality of semi-conductors then available.
